Renee survived the Holocaust hiding in farms, barns and convents – sent on a failed journey to Switzerland by her parents as the Nazi regime tightened its hold over occupied France.

Through this episode, Noemie traces her mother’s footsteps, meeting a family member of the man who helped to hide Renee and her siblings during the round-ups of Jews in Saint-Junien.
